This scripture tile art is what I’ve used to print actual square tiles that can be placed around the home (those to be offered on Etsy in the future).
I love the look of this piece, and especially the message it reminds us of. How often does this world tell us to only look out for ours
elves? As moms we tend to have a hard time falling into that trap often, while we continue to teach our children and others that they too should look out for the interests of others.
This, as all the scriptures in my artwork, was inspired through the Word of God during a specific, challenging time. Our home at that time was filled with 8 people, all looking out for themselves and what I could do for them. Needless to say it was pretty exhausting from my perspective, and I sought the Lord on this. I loved our big, blended family, and even the craziness it brought, but I knew something was off. Through seeking Him on this (and a number of other things!) this is one of the scriptures He brought me to. He inspired the design behind this piece, and even led me to where to place it in our home. It was a thankful, gentle reminder to all that we are all to look out for each other, especially as a family.
